Your certificate is issued for a three-year cycle, kept live by annual surveillance audits and a recertification audit in year three.

EdelCert International certifies management systems against ISO 9001:2015 (quality management) and ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management). Our accreditation application with IAS covers the construction sector (IAF code 28) and transport, storage and communication (IAF code 31).
Our accreditation by the International Accreditation Service (IAS) is in process and has not yet been granted. We say so plainly on every page, and we will update this site on the day it changes. Until then, certificates we issue are not accredited certificates.
EdelCert International (Pty) Ltd is headquartered in Cape Town, South Africa. Audit delivery is subcontracted to qualified partner organisations, such as EdelCert SA in Switzerland, working under EdelCert International's procedures and oversight.
It depends on how ready your system is. The sequence is a Stage 1 documentation review, a Stage 2 on-site audit, closure of any non-conformities, and an independent certification decision. Once issued, the certificate is valid for three years with annual surveillance audits.
Audit duration follows IAF MD 5, based on your headcount, number of sites and process complexity. We quote a fixed number of audit days in writing before you commit, with no hidden day rates.
